Emotional Freedom Techniques
- EFT

EFT is simply ‘emotional acupuncture.’ Based on Eastern energy principles, it is non invasive - using tapping, rubbing or holding to stimulate points on energy pathways called meridians. By tapping it allows energy to flow where it needs to go. If we couple this with conventional psychotherapy or ‘talk generally’ we notice instant shifts in:

  • Emotions such as fear, guilt, anger and sadness
  • Habits and behaviours
  • The ability to love, be loved and enjoy life successfully.
  • Physical ailments improve or heal

EFT gives you a better coping tool, a ‘first aid’ for hurt stress and anxiety, or to help you communicate more effectively and therefore gain a greater acceptance of others and yourself. It helps when you are blocked emotionally, where irritation, criticism and resentment rule your day and negative beliefs shape your life unawares.

With the introduction of EFT, ‘talk therapy’ becomes substantially more effective. By just talking, focusing on the mind at the same time addressing the energy blockage in stimulating these meridians change occurs quickly.

Of course we don’t leave you alone with this. At times you will need our help in addressing ‘deeper issues.’ It is a well established belief that ill health lies in the residue of negative emotions and unresolved situations of the past.
